The deal for Bauer to buy Communicorp has been approved. The deal which is expected to go through on the 31st will bring Bauer to Ireland for the first time giving them control of stations like Today FM and Newstalk.
Profits at Joe Duffy’s production company hit €483,000 according to newly filed accounts. Claddaghgreen Ltd is owned by joe who is contracted through the company by RTÉ for hosting liveline and other projects.

Today fm are going to have a new slot with different presenters each week from this week. Gavin James is taking week one. Who knows what voices we will hear on air in the future. Hopefully this slot can be used to give new presenters a shot as well as the celebrities .
Finally this week apple have announced a new subscription system in there podcast app to help podcasters earn a living. The new system launches in may and will let the podcast creator set a price for perks with apple handling the subscriptions on the podcasters behalf
